I’ve had a 7 -year -old infection as my ex did the most annoying in a hotel room – I can’t believe that I went into my sinus

The ruptures sink, but this was toxic.

A woman spent seven years suffering from relentless sinus infections that baffled doctors until they took samples of cultivation of the nose and finally broke the case.

The culprit? E. Coli, courtesy of his ex.

“E. Coli is from poop,” said Christine Connell in a recent Tiktok video that has accumulated more than 436,000 views: fascinating (and disgusting) internet.

“How do you climb in your sinus unless you have a boyfriend to get annoying and you are forced to inhale because you are still after ankle surgery?” She added.

Break? More like Break Wind.

In a later update, Connell said that she and her old Beau were locked in a hotel room with two Queen size beds while recovering from an operation.

She was already stuck under the covers when her ex, stopped between the beds, turned her back towards her.

“It was when the PET passed,” said Connell. “Never, never, I smelled anything that is compared with this.”

E. Coli is a group of bacteria that are commonly found in the intestinal routes of healthy humans and animals, according to the CDC.

Most E. coli strains are harmless and even beneficial, help digestion. But some strains can cause disease, such as diarrhea, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, sepsis and, in the case of Connell, a sinus infection that would not be left.

“I don’t think it’s usual,” he said. “It may happen, it has happened before, but it is definitely rare.”

E. Coli extends mainly when stool bacteria climb in the mouth, often through contaminated foods or water, or touching dirty surfaces and then the face.

Connell believes that a perfect storm of bad weather and bad gas made its infection possible.

“I had just made an ankle surgery I was recovering, so I imagine my immune system was focused on healing,” he said. “I think maybe in another circumstance, as if it had been healthy, it would not have happened.”

“Also when I say that it was the worst I smelled in my life, I really want to say that,” added Connell.

Connell emphasized that his ex did not try to explode -on purpose.

“He only put himself in bed and my face was on the road to the fart that was released,” he said.

From Toot to trouble

According to the Mayo clinic, sinus infections, officially known as sinusitis, occur when the tissue that revokes the sinus becomes inflamed.

These pockets full of air on the forehead, the cheeks and the nose can be blocked and flooded with fluid thanks to allergies, colds or infections, causing facial pain, pressure, congestion and other uncomfortable symptoms.

More than 31 million Americans suffer from sinus infections each year, and most can manage their symptoms at home with decongestants, nostrils and unpressless medicines.

But if the symptoms are attached for more than 10 days, doctors can prescribe antibiotics or nostrils of prescription resistance.

In the case of Connell, however, the usual treatments did not cut it.

In Tiktok’s follow -up, he revealed that antibiotics were not working, and they are now likely to go to surgery.

“They will use the general anesthesia to climb and scrape physically to where the bacteria have been and was really washed and removed all the infected tissue,” he said.
